Ahh....The Best of Times

The memories all came flooding back.....I loved this commercial when I was a kid and we only had 3 channels!  We all knew this song and would sing it at recess over and over and over.  That's when we had real recess--you know--a hugongous expanse of asphalt covered with sky high slides and monkey bars and totally illegal merry-go-rounds.

We lived in perfect harmony.  Just sayin'.

 

Memories

This is a classic...from my childhood....and waywayway before. 

You know when I hear these 'classics' I am instantly transplanted to that time in my life.  The beautiful silver tree, Grandma Hillbilly's, Santa's Toyshop on Grandma's miniature TV in the sewing room and Christmas programs at school.  So many things flood my mind.....

I hope my children have memories to carry them through a lifetime...just sayin'.
