We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature--trees, flowers, grass--grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...We need silence to be able to touch souls. --Mother Teresa

Rocks

MY HUSBAND ROCKS!!

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending a friend and mentors funeral. It was the most wonderful celebration I have ever been to. When I grow up...I want mine to be like that.....anyway, I am in TERRIBLE tears at funerals. I am in terrible tears at weddings. I am in terrible tears...at everything--first communion, graduation, last day of school, hallmark commercials.

You get the point.

And in the afternoon I got to go to a wedding shower for a person I have watched grow up. What a privilege! It was fun but still emotional for me. They grow up TOO fast.

But I was an emotional wreck....and he knew it so he cleaned the house for me yesterday. Vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom, mopped the kitchen floor. He did it all. And the laundry. God love him.

Today after church, he cleaned the oven. I had had a "spillover" on earlier in the week and it was smokin' us out whenever we turned it on. Then he washed and dried our bedding. Then he remade the bed.

He did the dishes 3 times today.

All for me. He rocks.

So do you rent him out???? Does he do yard work or know how to build a swingset????
