The Music of My Life

1983.  Totally dude.  I love the 80's. 


I'll stop the world and melt for you.  What's that supposed to mean anyway?

All I know is that when I heard this song on the radio Friday night I was instantly transported to the movies on a Friday night in 1983.  Valley Girl.  I actually paid money to see this movie.  There was a midnight showing and we got off work (try to be surprised--at the grocery store) and headed to the movies.






My kids are gonna love this one.  Just sayin'.

Isn't it strange how a song can recapture a moment?! A midnight showing of Valley Girl??? Do you suppose my students will be laughing about catching the midnight opening of Twilight? Happy Monday! (I'm off to inservice!)
