We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature--trees, flowers, grass--grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...We need silence to be able to touch souls. --Mother Teresa

Money Well Spent

Last week our HS boys basketball team participated in a mid-season tourney.  We didn't attend game 1, but did make it to games 2 and 3.

Twirling girl gave a little show at half time of game 3.  This is what 9 million dollars will get you:

I have to admit that I am very proud of her.  I would NEVER to this day NEVER get out on a 'stage' and perform anything and heck would have to freeze over for me to get out there by MYSELF.

And she does it.

It is impressive to me. It is even more impressive because what you can't see is that there was an entire boys basketball team lined up along the edge of the floor staring at her waiting to get on the floor to warm up.  I didn't notice it, but a friend of mine did and she was nervous for my child as she began to perform.  I am glad I didn't know it at the time.

And she is very much worth the 9 million dollars. Just sayin'.

She did such a good job!!!! I happened to notice that team in front of her, and I know that I would have never been able to go out there and do that. Also, Reaghan loved her shoes!!!!

Great job! I would sing and dance on stage with others--never dance and twirl by myself! She has nerves of steel!
